Check up Consultation and Inspections

An officially-trained Comfort and Indoor Air Quality Consultant will come to your home, and using state of the art diagnostic equipment and testing procedures,  will identify problem areas that affect your home's indoor living environment. Your consultant will then present you with a personalized plan to eliminate these problems, permanently.

Initial Consultation
The checkup begins with an initial interview with a Comfort and Indoor Air Quality Consultant. Customer input provides valuable information, such as whether any areas feel clammy when the air conditioner is operating, or if any areas of the house require dusting more often than others. We encourage every  adult in the home to take part in this initial consultation because everyone's perception of comfort and indoor air quality is a bit different.
Equipment Inspection
The inspection starts out with the heating and cooling equipment. Is it safe, efficient and dependable? Your consultant will visually inspect the equipment for any signs of deterioration, faulty installation, or lack of maintenance. He or she will inform you of the average life span of your type of equipment. The consultant will also test your system's air filtration and purification efficiency, to determine if improvements would better purify your indoor air.

Insulation Inspection
Even a top notch heating and cooling system will have difficulty keeping you comfortable or will cost more to operate if you don’t have enough insulation. Your consultant will visually inspect insulation amounts throughout your home and determine if they meet  recommended levels. More importantly, the consultant will look for hidden defects, such as hollow wall gaps, that allow air and heat to bypass the insulation. Attic ventilation levels will also be evaluated.
